Our song of the day is ‘Thiru Thiruda’ from Five Star, Prasanna’s debut film featuring him as a college student in love with Easwari (Kanika), who he soon finds out is married to his friend. The film released in 2002, and the story was based on the life of five friends. Prasanna landed the lead role after auditioning for it when he was still in college. The song, sung by Srinivas and Sujatha, was shot in Chennai and Switzerland, and saw Anuradha Sriram and Sriram Parasuram turn music composers.
