On World Day for Water, ‘Nadhiye Nadhiye’ from Rhythm is our song of the day. Set against falls, streams, and rivers, this song is a tribute to the water bodies around us. It is the second of the five tracks from the film which represent wind, water, fire, air and earth. Sounds of rivers are part of the music, and the lyrics compare the beauty of water to that of a lover.
Written and directed by Vasanth, Rhythm (2000) stars Arjun and Meena in the lead. The film was set in various locations, and ‘Nathiye Nathiye’ was shot in parts of Mysore’s Shivanasamudra dam, and the Thriveni Sangama.
