To mark ‘Chocolate Day’, the third day of Valentine’s Week, here’s ‘Adiye Sakkarakatti’, from Meesaya Murukku, a romantic comedy which is also a partly fictionalised biopic of Aadhi. The film written and directed by Aadhi, of the musical duo Hiphop Tamizha, was his directorial debut which released in 2017. It featured Hiphop Tamizha Aadhi and Aathmika in the lead, and was produced by Sundar C under the banner Avni Movies.
In this song Aadhi tries to make up to his girl friend after a fight, and lovingly calls Aathmika (Nila) a sugar cube. The song has fast beat music with colorful visuals, and a poetic composition by UK Senthil Kumar and Kiruthi Vasan.
