Sudheer Babu, a relative of actor Krishna, decided early on that he would not use his family’s influence to get ahead in the Telugu industry.
Sudheer said, “When I decided to get into films I knew that I wanted to achieve something on my own. If I had used their names to get projects, people wouldn’t have respected me. Using their names is like asking them for dowry. I don’t want to do that.”
On the work front, Sudheer is confident about his upcoming film Sammohanam. He mentioned that he thoroughly enjoyed working for director Indraganti Mohan Krishna and that every actor must do at least one film with him. Sudheer added that he did a lot of homework for the film and also took reference from real-life characters.

Sudheer said: “But for this film, I couldn’t find anyone to follow; I just had the director to guide me. That’s why it was a challenging role. The director has a strong command over Telugu literature and language, but I struggled while dubbing for the film.”
Sudheer will next be seen in the biopic of badminton player Gopichand. The actor hopes to spend some time with Gopichand to prepare for his role.
