The teaser of the Telugu movie Mela, starring Surya Tej and Sai Dhanshika, is out. It was unveiled by the Telugu Film Producers Council on their official YouTube page.

The teaser hints at a ‘walking dead’ scenario and a zombie apocalypse somewhere in the realms of a distant village. A lady with really long hair is seen maniacally beating the drums with her back facing the camera, the lady in question could be Sai Dhanshika. The music and visuals spell intrigue.
Directed by the debutant Kiran Sripuram, the movie will be a bilingual film, releasing both in Tamil and Telugu. This will mark Sai Dhanshika’s Telugu debut. The actress was last seen in another bi-lingual movie Solo, opposite to Dulqueer Salman. In the meantime, she’s working on the Samuthirakani directorial, Kitna, a multi-lingual movie.
Mela will be bankrolled by Santosh Konka, with National Award-winning cinematographer Mohan Reddy and Sukku will be composing the music.
