Actor Jagapathi Babu, who plays Mahesh Babu’s father in Srimanthudu, is in awe of the superstar. “Mahesh owns every scene he stars in. His dedication is infectious and there’s so much I got to learn from him on the sets,” Jagapathi told Silverscreen. The 53-year old actor also believes Mahesh is a perfectionist. Although this is the first time the duo has worked together, Jagapathi says he’d love to work with him again.
Directed by Koratala Siva, the film also stars Shruti Haasan as Mahesh’s love interest. It’s said to be the story of a multi-millionaire who decides to adopt a village, and the challenges he faces in the process. Mahesh has turned producer with the film, which is jointly produced by Mythri Movie Makers.
