Actress Bhumika Chawla will soon act in a Telugu movie. This time around, the 38-year-old actress will play a pivotal role in a movie that stars Nani as the main lead. The untitled project will be helmed by Venu Sree Raam.

A report in the Deccan Chronicle states that the Tere Naam actress was not initially keen on taking up the project. “The actress wasn’t keen on the role, but when the director narrated the script to her, she liked it and agreed to do it. The makers are also planning to rope in a popular actor to play her husband,” the report states. The actress will be seen essaying the role of Nani’s sister in the movie.
Bhumika’s last outing in Telugu cinema was an Allari Naresh starrer Laddu Babu (2014) which did not fare well at the box office. She was last seen in MS Dhoni: The Untold Story, in 2016.
