Actress Amala Paul will play one of the leads in Balakrishna’s next, a gangster film directed by Puri Jagaannadh. The film reportedly has three female leads, with actor Charmee cast in a pivotal role.

A source close to the team told the Deccan Chronicle, “Amala has worked with Puri Jagannadh earlier in Iddarammayilatho and ever since, they share a good rapport. When names were being considered for a role in the film, Amala came across as a good option.” The fact that Amala and Balakrishna had never acted in a film together was also a factor.
Earlier, Amala Paul had signed another Tollywood film starring Ayushman Bhava and directed by debutante Charentez.
