A new week and new releases. Unfortunately, like last week, the same doesn’t apply to Tamil Nadu owing to the strike called in protest against double taxation.

With no Tamil films this week, the three major releases are Raju Gari Gadhi 2, Victoria & Abdul, and Kaattu.

Raju Gari Gadhi 2 (Telugu)

A horror-comedy directed by Ohmkar, the film stars Nagarjuna Akkineni, Samantha Akkineni, Seerat Kapoor in the lead roles with a special appearance from Kajal Aggarwal. The film is a sequel to the Telugu film that released in 2015.

Nagarjuna will reprise his role as the mentalist Rudra. Samantha will be playing the role of a law student named Amrutha and a ghost of the same name. The film essentially revolves around a group of tourists vacationing at an island resort where they feel some paranormal presence. They seek Rudra’s help to understand the problem. Music is by S Thaman.
