Actress Sridevi, who began her career as a child artiste, grew up to become the film industry’s first female superstar. She has worked in a lot of Tamil, Hindi, and Malayalam films. She played her first lead role at the age of 13 in Tamil film Moondru Mudichu (1976) with Kamal Haasan, N Viswanathan, and Rajinikanth as co-stars. In the 70s, 80s, and 90s, Sridevi established herself as one of the leading actresses in the industry.
Early this morning, Sridevi died of a cardiac arrest in Dubai. She was 54. The actress is survived by her husband Boney Kapoor, and daughters, Jhanvi and Khushi.
