Trisha Krishnan has begun shooting for the thriller Garjanai. The movie is the Tamil remake of NH10, which starred Anushka Sharma and Neil Bhoopalam. Trisha will play Anushka’s role in the remake, while television actor Amit Bhargav will play her husband.

This is Trisha’s 58th film. She also has Mohini, Sathuranga Vettai 2 and a film with Nagarjuna readying to release this year
Directed by Sundar B, Garjanai was announced in October 2016. Actor Vamsi Krishna plays the antagonist in the film. Amrish composes the music. It is scheduled to release by the end of this year.
