Tamannaah Bhatia has signed to play the lead in the Tamil remake of Queen. The cast also includes Amy Jackson, who plays the role Lisa Haydon played in the original.
Actress Revathy will direct the project, while Suhasini Mani Ratnam will write the dialogues.
Earlier,actor-director Thiagarajan had bought the remake rights of the original. According to reports, his son, actor Prashanth, will play a key role in the project.

Actress Amala Paul plays the female lead in the Malayalam version of the movie. Revathy will direct that version as well.
Actress Parul Yadav has been signed as the lead in the Kannada version. Prakash Raj will direct this version.
The film’s Telugu version will be directed by Anish Kuruvilla. Reportedly, Regina Cassandra and Rakul Preet Singh are the front runners for the role.
Thiagarajan will produce the film through his Staar Movies banner. Filming is likely to begin in early 2017.
