Ragava Lawrence Wants Police Protection For Motta Shiva Ketta Shiva’s Release

Ragava Lawrence has filed a complaint with the Chennai police and requested protection to ensure a safe release for his film Motta Shiva Ketta Shiva. In his complaint, the actor says he received several threats from unknown persons about Motta Shiva Ketta Shiva.

The film was produced by Vendhar Movies in association with Super Good Films.

Speaking to Silverscreen, Lawrence said: “We initially began the film with S Madhan of Vendhar films, and Super Good Films. It was based on my original screenplay. But due to issues we abandoned the story. The film that we are releasing now is the Tamil remake of the Telugu film Pattas. This is entirely different from the one S Madhan produced. Some people told us that we need help and permission from S Madhan to release this film. And so, we requested the police commissioner to help us.”

An arrest warrant was issued over six months ago against S Madhan on charges of corruption and fraud. After sensationally disappearing from his home in Chennai and leaving behind a suicide note, Madhan evaded arrest for months before being caught in Tirupur last month. This left Motta Shiva Ketta Shiva hanging. The film was completed earlier this year and has been waiting for a suitable release date.

Starring Ragava Lawrence and Nikki Galrani, Motta Shiva Ketta Shiva has Lawrence playing a police officer. The film’s title is taken from a popular line in Lawrence’s previous film Muni 3: Ganga.
