The actress distanced herself from the project and  revealed that she signed on for it only because of the ‘innocent role’ she was offered. “I signed the film mainly for the innocent character I played. I had to act like a Malayali who didn’t know Tamil — and it was difficult. So I had to transcribe my lines in Malayalam. But I think the movie could have been better in other aspects,” she said.
