National Award winning director Vetrimaaran is all set to join hands with music-composer-turned-actor, GV Prakash, on his next project. According to a report in The New Indian Express, the film will be produced by Sri Green Productions. An official announcement is expected soon. GV Prakash has composed the music for the director’s previous films Polladhavan (2007), Aadukalam (2011), and Visaranai (2016).

GV Prakash has a stellar lineup of projects for 2017 which includes Adangathey, 4G, Sarva Thala Mayam, a film with actress Rambha, and one with Sasi of Pichaikaran (2016) fame.
Meanwhile, Vetrimaaran is currently shooting the gangster-trilogy Vada Chennai. The first schedule of the film, which stars Dhanush, has already been completed. The film is set to begin its second schedule in the first week of March. Dhanush has a handful of movies in which he stars. He is busy with production as well. According to reports, Vada Chennai is facing delays because of the actor’s hectic schedule.
