Director Gautham Menon has said that he has shot five songs for his upcoming film Enai Noki Paayum Thota. Interestingly, the film does not have a music composer as yet.
“We still haven’t finalized the composer because we haven’t found one yet. Strangely, I went ahead and shot the five songs in the film. I had references in my mind and shot the songs as montages. Even Dhanush was fine with the idea,” Gautham Menon told IANS.
Gautham Menon has thus far collaborated with composers like Harris Jayaraj, AR Rahman and Ilaiyaraaja. He hinted that ENPT may have a composer he has not worked with, yet. “We are not trying to keep the name of the composer a secret. We just plan to reveal it differently. Instead of announcing via a poster or a press release, we’re planning to announce it with the songs,” he said.
Enai Noki Paayum Thota has Dhanush in the lead role. Megha Akash has been cast as the female lead, while Rana Daggubati has a major role in the project.
The crew has completed almost 85% of the production. The crew flew to Turkey in April to shoot a few songs.
Menon hopes to film the next schedule in Mumbai; and is looking to release the film early next year.
The director had also revealed that he is in talks with actor Vikram for a film.
Menon will also be at the helm of a multi-starrer on the lines of Zindagi Na Milegi Do Baara. STR, Puneeth Rajkumar, Prithviraj, Anushka Shetty, Tamannaah Bhatia have signed on to do the project. Talks are on with a few Telugu actors for a major role in the film.
