Dulquer Salman has reportedly been cast in a new Tamil film. Debutant Ra Karthik is the director of the film that is currently in pre-production. The actor is yet toconfirm his involvement in the project.
If it does materialise, the film will go on floors by mid-2017, reports say. Ra Karthik hopes to get three heroines for the film. Megha Akash and Nivetha Pethuraj are said to be interested in the film. The makers are now on the lookout for another actress.
Ra Karthik would not confirm Dulquer’s casting. Though, he did say that the film will be made ‘official’ in a week’s time.

Dulquer’s last Tamil release was OK Kanmani. The actor is yet to sign a Tamil film, and has instead focussed on his Malayalam film career. He has scored back-to-back hits with movies such as Kammattipaadam, Kali, and Charlie. In Sathyan Anthikad’s Jomonte Suviseshangal, that is scheduled to release on January 26th, 2017, Dulquer plays a care-free son of a Thrissur-based tycoon. Despite the ongoing crisis in Mollywood, the film has generated positive buzz.
