After being shot in several locations in India, the third installment of the Singam franchise will be shot in Romania. Since January, the team had been working in Chennai, Vizag, Madurai and Karaikudi. The Romania stint will include a romantic romantic song featuring Suriya and Anushka. Composed by Harris Jayaraj, the song has been sung by Swetha Mohan and Harish Raghavendra.
After the Romanian schedule, Suriya is expected to return to India for the audio and trailer launch of his next film 24. Following that, the S3 team flies to Malaysia for another schedule, before wrapping up the shoot in Goa, Chennai and Vizag. The name of the actor playing the villain has kept under wraps thus far, though an announcement is expected shortly.
Singam 3, directed by Hari is expected to release on October 7, to coincide with the Dussehra festival.
