Sibiraj Acquires The Remake Rights Of Kshanam

Actor Sibiraj has acquired the remake rights of the Telugu film Kshanam, which released this February. Directed by newcomer Ravikanth Peupu, Kshanam starred Adivi Sesh and Adah Sharma, and received positive reviews, in addition to doing exceptionally well at the box-office. The film is a thriller in which the protagonist (Sesh) returns from to India from the USA, to find the kidnapped daughter of his ex-girlfriend.

Sibiraj tweeted the news on Thursday evening:

Talking to Silverscreen.in, Sibiraj said that it was rare to come across a film like Kshanam, where an upcoming actor had received such high praise. Noting that this had piqued his interest in the film, Sibijraj added, “I thought the content was very strong, and the treatment and screenplay of Kshanam was top-notch. Moreover, I’ve heard reports that Salman Khan is planning to acquire the Hindi remake rights of the film. The content is that strong. The film will give me scope to perform differently from my previous films.”

The cast and crew of the remake are yet to be finalised.
