Selvaraghavan is in talks with actor Vijay for a new film. The director recently met with Vijay to discuss the project. A source close to Selvaraghavan said, “The project is in the early stages now. Nothing is finite yet. But thus far, the chances of this movie taking off are very high. If all goes well, we will look to announce the project soon.”
Director Kasthuriraja, speaking to Silverscreen, said, “Selvaraghavan and Vijay met at Annai Illam recently, during which the script was narrated. Vijay has suggested some small edits to the script. Following this, full-length work will start on the project.”

Annai Illam is the residence of actor Prabhu Ganesan. Sources confirm that the location of the meeting indicates that this project will be produced by Sivaji Productions, the Ganesan family’s home banner co-owned by Sivaji’s sons – actor Prabhu and producer Ramkumar.
This film would be Vijay’s 62nd movie and Selvaraghavan’s 10th. The director announced two other projects this year: Kaan with STR, and an untitled film with Santhanam. His Nenjam Marappathillai with SJ Suryah, Nandita Swetha, Regina Cassandra is readying for release.
Interestingly, Vijay’s 61st movie, which is with Atlee, is also rumoured to be produced by Sivaji Productions.
