The audio launch of Vijay Antony’s Salim, set to happen at Sathyam Cinemas on June 5, will see a unique promotional campaign. The makers have come up with a ‘Salim Meets Salim’ contest, wherein anybody named Salim will get a chance to interact with composer-cum-actor Vijay Antony at the launch. Nikil Murugan,who handles PR for the movie, said, “This is a fun experience for all of us. If your name is Salim, please send your full name, address and contact details to salimmeetssalim@gmail.com!”
Directed by NV Nirmal Kumar, Salim is a sequel to Antony’s earlier offering, Naan; and is named after the film’s lead. Vijay Antony, who stars as Salim, has composed music and produced the movie as well. Studio Nine and Sri Green Productions are also bankrolling this film.
