Actress Sadha, who is known for her best work in Jayam and Unnale Unnale has been paired opposite actor Vadivelu in his upcoming film Eli, directed by Yuvaraj Dayalan. The official agreement was signed today and the actress is expected to join the sets tomorrow.

The first look poster of Eli which was released in February garnered positive reviews. Eli is said to be a period film set in 1970’s and will speak of western influence in Indian culture. Vadivelu’s character in the film will have the “characteristics of a rat”, hence the title.
Shooting of the film is progressing at a swift pace in the city. Produced by G Sathis Kumar and S Amarnath under City Cine Creations, Eli has music scored by Vidyasagar.
