Lead actor Raghava Lawrence says he thinks of himself as the fourth hero of Shivalinga. “The story is the first hero of Shivalinga, and Ritika is the second. Shakti Vasu, who plays a very important role, is the third hero and then comes my role. I consider myself the fourth hero of the film,” Lawrence told Hindustan Times. Shivalinga is a supernatural thriller directed by P Vasu.
Lawrence also said he’s confident that the film will be a hit, “Kanchana was a hit. Its sequel Ganga was even a bigger hit. When I was looking to do a film that will be even more successful, director Vasu asked me to watch Shivalinga, and I immediately liked it and decided to be part of the remake.”

Praising co-star Ritika Singh, Lawrence said she would be lauded as the next Jyotika once Shivalinga releases, “Ritika will get the kind of appreciation actress Jyotika got for her performance in Chandramukhi. She could be the next Jyotika.”
Shivalinga is the official remake of the Kannada film of the same name. The Kannada version starred Shivrajkumar, son of veteran actor Rajkumar, and Vedhika and was also directed by P Vasu. The story revolves around the lead investigative officer’s wife, who is possessed by a vengeful spirit.
Shakti Vasu, who had an importantrole in the original, plays the same character in the the Tamil version as well.
