Actor and incumbent president of the Nadigar Sangam, R Sarathkumar has blamed actor Kamal Haasan for the rift in the Nadigar Sangam and the formation of the Pandavar Ani. Speaking to Puthiya Thalaimurai, he said, “Actor Kamal Haasan is stimulating the Pandavar Ani to come up with such issues. He is clearly staying behind them and backing them in all cause.” The Nadigar Sangam eletions are scheduled for September 18.

Sarthkumar further said that they would hold a meeting on October 11 at the Raghavendra Kalyana Mandapam and the meeting would answer all the complaints raised against R Sarathkumar and Radha Ravi. “We do not care about the number of people who attended Pandavar Ani’s meeting. The people who attended belong to fan clubs. We have the support of over 500 people and we have documented their support in the meeting along with their membership id,” he said.
On October 2, the Pandavar Ani members Nasser, Vishal, Karunas, Ponvannan and JK Ritheesh filed their nominations. Several industry stalwarts including actors Sivakumar, Vadivukkarasi and director Sundarrajan attended the meeting. The team also read out their election manifesto during the meeting.
