Prabhu Deva-Tamannaah starrer ‘Devi(L)’ Releases on 9 September

Prabhu Deva-Tamannaah starrer Devi(L) finally gets a release date on 9 September. Directed by Vijay of Deiva Thirumagal fame, the movie is said to be a horror-thriller.  Sonu Sood of Arundhati fame is also part of the cast. Amy Jackson and bollywood director-choreographer Farah Khan are reported to have made cameo appearances.

Reports confirm that Tamannaah will be seen in the role of a movie star in the film. According to a ToI report,  there’s a nice twist to how she becomes an actress, and the horror angle in the movie will take the audience by surprise.

The trilingual movie will be released in Tamil, Hindi, and Telugu. It’s titled Abhinetri in Hindi and Telugu. It was recently reported that Amala Paul’s brother, Abijith Paul, will make his debut in the movie as the lead antagonist. Devi(L) is produced by Prabhu Deva, Kona Venkat and MVV Satyanarayana and has music by GV Prakash Kumar and Sajid-Wajid.

After the teaser was released on 17 June, the movie has garnered a lot of attention on social media.
