Several reports claim that the shooting of director Pa Ranjith’s upcoming film starring Rajinikanth and Radhika Apte has been delayed, and will commence sometime in the last week of August. Reportedly, the pre-production work of the movie took longer than expected. The shooting was scheduled to start on August 2, and the official announcement regarding the delay is expected to be out soon.
On Tuesday, actress Radhika Apte ‘finally’ confirmed that she was playing the female lead in the yet-to-be-titled movie. The actress stated that her character was a powerful one, and refrained from divulging further specifics of it.
Actor Rajinikanth will be essaying the role of an aged gangster in the movie, which also has Prakash Raj, Madras fame Kalaiyarasan and Attakathi Dinesh in prominent roles. Music director Santhosh Narayanan is now busy scoring the tunes for the album.
