Actress Madonna Sebastian is currently shooting for a cameo role in Dhanush’s directorial debut, Power Paandi. Sources close to the production unit reveal that the actress will play the role of Dhanush’s romantic interest in the film. It has been reported that Dhanush, apart from directing the film will also be doing an extended cameo in it.
The film, which has Rajkiran in the lead role, is about aging stuntmen. Apart from Dhanush and Madonna, Gautham Menon is also doing a cameo in the film.
Sean Roldon is composing the music for the film and Velraj is the cinematographer. Sources say that Dhanush had the idea of Power Paandi for nearly eight years and he recently gave the bound script of the film to his elder brother Selvaraghavan for his opinion. Produced by Dhanush’s Wunderbar Films, Power Paandi also has Prasanna and Chaya Singh playing important roles in it.

Madonna Sebastian, who made her debut with last year’s Malayalam blockbuster Premam made her Tamil debut this year in Vijay Sethupathi starrer Kadhalum Kadandhu Pogum. The film, directed by Nalan Kumarasamy was an official remake of the Korean film My Dear Desperado. Her third release was the Telugu remake of Premam where she reprised the role she played in the original.
Her next film is Kavan directed by KV Anand, which sees her paired with Vijay Sethupathi again. Madonna, who is also a singer will be singing a song in the film.
