Kushboo is being considered for one of the female lead roles in the Pa Ranjith – Rajinikanth film. According to a report in DC:

“Two other actresses from the 90s are also being considered.”
Vidya Balan has already been roped in for the other lead role in the film. Bankrolled by Dhanush’s banner Wunderbar Films, much of this untitled project will be shot in Mumbai.
At present, the film is in pre-production and will likely go on the floors in May this year.
Meanwhile, Kushboo is currently filming James Vasanthan’s Oh Andha Naatkal that also has Radhika Sarathkumar, Suhasini and Urvashi.
