Actress Samantha revealed the first look poster of Pandigai on her twitter page yesterday.

The first look left many wondering as to how an image of a hurt and bleeding Krishna relate to the title Pandigai. In a press release, the director of the film, Feroz, explained that the plot of the film revolves around a street fight ‘festival’ organized by gangsters. Krishna plays the role of Velu, a rugged guy, who is forced into the illegal fight festival. He sees the festival as a chance to put his anger and vengeance on show, and to make money too. What happens when he encounters an unexpected problem is what Pandigai is all about.
Along with Krishna, Anandhi, ‘ParuthiVeeran’ Saravanan, Nithin Sathya, Karunas and ‘Black’ Pandi play important roles.
Debutant music Director RH Vikram scores the music for the film. National award-winning editor Sabu Joseph edits the film. Vijayalakshmi, the actress well known for Chennai 600028, turns producer with Pandigai.
