Kalaipuli S Thanu’s Kalaipuli International banner has acquired the distribution rights of director AL Abanindran’s Vellaiya Irukiravan Poi Sollamaatan. Vellaiya Irukiravan Poi Sollamaatan will release in theatres on November 27. The film was originally scheduled to release in early October. Kalaipuli S Thanu, head of the Producers Council, said he was impressed with the film’s content. The filmmakers also said that with Thanu’s inclusion, Vellaiya Irukiravan Poi Sollamaatan is now getting due recognition from audiences.
Vellaiya Irukiravan Poi Sollamaatan’s story is based on blackmail and its consequences. Starring newcomers Praveen and Shalini, the film also features Bala Saravanan and Aadukalam Naren in supporting roles. Vellaiya Irukiravan Poi Sollamaatan has been jointly produced by cinematographer RV Varman, Vachan Shetty, and Devanshu Arya.
