Ahead of Jyotika-starrer Kaatrin Mozhi’s release this Friday, her next production with Dream Warrior Pictures was launched yesterday with a pooja. The movie is tentatively titled Dream Warrior Pictures 21, and is director S Raj’s debut project. The shooting for the movie will begin on November 16.

Composer Sean Roldan and cinematographer Gokul Benoy are part of the crew. Philomin Raj has signed up for editing and Pawal Kumar for art direction.

SR Prakash Babu and SR Prabhu will produce this movie under the banner Dream Warrior Pictures. They are also currently producing the much-awaited Suriya-starrer Nandha Gopala Kumaran, directed by Selvaraghan. Their last project was Aruvi starring Aditi Balan, directed by Arun Prabhu.

While more details about Dream Warrior Pictures 21 are yet to come out, the makers have announced that a school set worth Rs 50 lakh is being erected in Chennai, and most of the shoot will take place here. Reports suggest that Jyotika might be playing a teacher in the movie. The actress had last played teacher in the Gautham Menon film Kaakha Kaakha in 2003.

This is Jyotika’s 21st movie, and the fourth this year after Naachiyaar, Chekka Chivandha Vaanam and Kaatrin Mozhi. In an interview with TNM, Jyotika was quoted as saying that she wanted to do more meaningful roles. “What I want in my films is that women should walk out feeling proud,” she said.

Set to release tomorrow, Kaatrin Mozhi, directed by Radha Mohan, is a remake of the Vidya Balan starring Tumhari Sulu. Radha Mohan and Jyotika have come together for the movie a decade after Mozhi’s release. In Silverscreen’s interview with the director, he said that like most of his other movies, Kaatrin Mozhi too is a ‘feel good’ one.
