Just three months of shooting Vanamagan has made Sayesha Saigal ‘half-Tamilian’

Shivaay fame Sayesha Saigal has wrapped up the first schedule of her debut Tamil film, Vanamagan. The actress claims that the shoot of the movie has turned her into a ‘half-tamilian’ as she picks up words without much prompting.

The 19-year-old actress spoke to the Times of India and said, “Initially, I found it difficult to understand Tamil but I have gotten better with time. I can pick up dialogues now even when given on the spot, and I mouth my lines without being prompted. I think I’m already half-Tamilian.”

The director of Vanamagan, Vijay, is said to be mighty impressed by her ability in picking up the language. He wants her to dub for herself. “I really haven’t given it a thought yet,” she added.

The movie will star Jayam Ravi as the main lead and Sayesha says working on the project has been an absolute pleasure. “Ravi is very co-operative and friendly, and working with him has been so much fun,” she said.

Sayesha Saigal debuted opposite Akhil Akkineni in the Telugu film Akhil in 2015. The two-film old actress promises her Tamil debut to be the best she has done, so far.
