Music director Ilaiyaraaja and ace writer-producer Panchu Arunachalam are teaming up again for director Rajadurai’s Muthuramalingam. A source close to the music director said, ” Ilaiyaraaja asked Panchu sir if he could pen songs for the film, and he immediately agreed”.

Muthuramalingam, a film set in rural background, has Gautham Karthik and Catherine Tresa in the lead roles. Panchu Arunachalam has written songs for Gautham Karthik’s father Karthik, and his grandfather, Muthuraman.
Recently, the first look poster of the film was released. Muthuramalingam cast features Prabhu, Suman, Radha Ravi, Vivekh, Sukanya, Rekha and Singam Puli in prominent roles.
Meanwhile, Ilaiyaraaja has also been roped in to compose music for Amma Kanakku, which will be produced by Dhanush’s Wunderbar Films.
