Debutant director Elan, who is quite famous in the industry for his short films, is now busy wielding the megaphone for Grahanam starring Kreshna, Kayal Chandran and Karunakaran in lead roles. Newcomer Nandini Rai, who totes a Miss Andhra Pradesh title, steps into the Tamil industry with Grahanam.
A recent press release issued by the movie’s publicist stated that the actress is essaying the role of a peppy girl named Shwetha. Nandini Rai, who has been quoted in the release, says that she will be ‘seen in different shades throughout the movie’ and that her character has a lot of ‘scope’ to perform. She had also taken acting and dancing lessons before the shoot of Grahanam.
Said to be a thriller, Grahanam‘s storyline is set in the backdrop of Chennai. This film has music by Sundara Moorthy, camera-work by Sree Saravanan, and editing by Mani Kumaran.
