Gayathrie of Naduvula Konjam Pakkatha Kaanom fame has reportedly joined the team of Thiagarajan Kumararaja’s film Aneethi Kathaigal. According to a Deccan Chronicle report, the actress will be joining the other cast members – Vijay Sethupathi, Samantha Ruth Prabhu, Fahadh Faasil – soon.
“I am paired opposite Vijay Sethupathi in the film and I will start shooting for the movie from September 10. I will not be able to divulge any information about my character, but it is going be pivotal to the story,” she told Deccan Chronicle.

The actress recently bagged another role in Vijay Sethupathi’s Oru Nalla Naal Paathu Solren, which is being directed by Arumugakumar. The film has Niharika Konidela as the female lead, and Gayathrie plays the second heroine. She plays a tribal girl, and has completed shooting for her portions in the film.
Gayathrie is currently waiting for her next release Puriyadha Puthir, a thriller with Vijay Sethupathi, scheduled to release on September 1. Directed by Ranjith, the film was earlier titled Mellisai. She is also filming for Ula.
