Director Rajesh has called out newspaper Deccan Chronicle for its report on his upcoming film with actor Jiiva. According to the newspaper’s report, the film had been titled ‘Kudiyum Kuduthanamum’. The report also claimed that the film has a number of drinking and TASMAC-focused scenes. The director tweeted to say that the title hadn’t yet been finalised.

Director Rajesh’s Siva Manasula Sakthi with Jiiva had a number of TASMAC-focused scenes. However, the number of alcohol-related scenes gradually decreased over the course of his next few films, including in All In All Azhagu Raja, which failed to do well at the box-office. Nevertheless, the idea that the director subsequently reverted to drinking scenes as a success formula has been a misconception, as is clear from the recently released Vasuvum Saravananum Onna Padichavanga, starring Arya and Santhanam.
An announcement on the cast and crew of his upcoming film with actor Jiiva is expected shortly. Actor Jiiva is now currently shooting for Thirunaal and Kavalai Vendam.
