Dhanush will begin work on his web series soon. The actor had announced his plans to make the series two years back, but work on it had stalled after he launched his sequel to Velaiyilla Pattathari.

“We had started planning for a web series two years ago and we had started the research as well. We even planned to launch an app, but because of VIP 2, we had to shift our focus,” the actor told Deccan Chronicle.
“We will be resuming our web series plan next year. I will be backing it, but I’m not acting in it right now. We will be expanding it region by region,” he added.
Dhanush will back the series through his Wunderbar Films.
