Director Bala, who is currently working on Naachiyar starring Jyothika and GV Prakash, will next direct the remake of Arjun Reddy, which will have Vikram’s son, Dhruv Vikram playing Vijay Devarakonda’s role.
While Vikram announced his son’s debut on Instagram, he made an official announcement about Bala directing, too, on Instagram.
A source told Silverscreen, “Dhruv Vikram is currently in the US, doing a course in filmmaking. He will be back in November. Meanwhile, Bala will wrap up Naachiyar. The shoot of the film will tentatively start from this year-end or January next year. Bala has agreed to take up this remake for his longtime friend, Vikram.”
Shreya Sharma of Jillunu Oru Kaadhal is likely to star opposite Dhruv in this film. However, there is no official confirmation as yet.
