Andrea Jeremiah will play villain in Thupparivalan.

“Andrea essays a villain role — the character will be something new for her as well as the audience. Veteran director Bhagyaraj, too, plays a character with shades of grey in the film. Almost sixty per cent of the shoot is over, and the film is a complete action-thriller.”
The actress replaced Akshara Haasan in the action-thriller, that has actor Vishal Krishna in a sort of Sherlock Holmes-esque role.

Actor Prasanna too has a major role in the movie, that is in the final stages of production. Music is by Arrol Corelli.
