Director Adhik Ravichandran is currently in talks with actor STR for his second film. Speaking to Silverscreen.in, Ravichandran said, “I met STR and narrated the script and he seemed interested in the film. Nothing has been finalised as of now. We are expecting to sign within a week, after which the official announcement will be made.” Sources close to the director say the film will be a romance. Adhik Ravichandran’s debut film Trisha Illana Nayanthara starred GV Prakash and Anandhi, and was a commercial success.
STR, who is currently embroiled in cases filed against him on account of the ‘Beep Song’ controversy, has not made any public appearances. The Madras High Court recently granted the actor anticipatory bail.
