Aalamaram is directed by SN Duraisingam, a former associate of K Bhagyaraj. The movie is said to be inspired by an incident that occurred in the director’s life and will feature many horror elements. Set in a village, the film mostly stars first-time actors. Music composer Ram Jeevan has recorded all the songs live for the film. KMK Palanivel is in charge of editing and had reportedly agreed to be a part of the project as a gesture of goodwill.
Aalamaram has been shot in and around Madurai and Theni. The first look poster of the film was released recently.
