Vijay Sethupathi will have eight looks in his next movie. The actor plays a tribal leader in debutant Arumuga Kumar’s Oru Nalla Naal Paathu Solren, also starring Gautham Karthik.

The director told Silverscreen, “The eight looks are not just publicity gimmicks. They are also necessary for the story to move forward. In contrast, Gautham’s character doesn’t have as many getup changes, but he doesn’t need it. Both actors will have a kick-ass time onscreen. And I hope the audience will, as well.”
Kumar also said that while the first half of the film features Sethupathi in an urban look, the second half will focus on his life in a tribal settlement.
Niharika Konidela makes her acting debut with this project. Actor Ramesh Thilak has been cast in a supporting role.
