The audio of actor Santhanam’s second full-fledged movie, Inimey Ippadithaan was launched by actors STR and Arya and received by actor-producer Udhayanidhi Stalin. The trailer of the movie was released by director Rajesh, and director Gautham Menon received it.
Inimel Ippadithaan is a feel-good rom-com helmed by director-duo Murugan and Premanand, fondly called Muruganand. The lead cast of Vallavanukku Pullum Aayudham, Santhanam and Aashna Zaveri, are playing the lead roles in this film while actress Akila Kishore of Kathai Thiraikathai Vasanam Iyakkam, who bears a close resemblance to yesteryear actress Sangavi, plays an important role in the movie. Debutant music director Santhosh has scored the songs for this film which is produced by Santhanam’s Handmade Films banner.
The event began with the screening of the trailer and two songs from the movie. Director Murugan recalled old days with Santhanam while working on Lollu Sabha. “Seven years ago, Santhanam had agreed to do a film with us. He is not a man who forgets his word and I am happy that he has teamed up with us for a movie.”
Director Rajesh, who is now busy shooting for VSOP with Santhanam and Arya, stated that he has seen the rushes of the movie, and added that this is not a logic-free comedy fare. “I was impressed with the climax portion and I am sure people will be able to relate to the movie like I did,” said the director.
Director Gautham Vasudev Menon, who was visibly happy, said, ” Santhanam’s journey in the industry is a success story. He is an inspiration to many youngsters out there and I have the confidence that Inimel Ippadithaan will be a visual treat for the audience.”

Actors STR, Arya, Udhayanidhi Stalin and Santhanam were seen having a very good time on stage. STR got a little emotional though. “I did not have anything in these two and a half years – no movies, no money and even my girlfriend left me. I learnt a lot in these years and I have decided to follow Santhanam’s principle of living for others. I am also proud to have recognized Santhanam’s talent before anyone else. ”
Actor Arya also appreciated Santhanam’s hard work for this film and added that Santhanam has taken a vow to give a platform to every writer in his team. Santhanam, during his speech, stated that it was Arya who made him look slim and sleek. Actor-producer Udhayanidhi Stalin then revealed that Santhanam is his inspiration to dance. He said, “We have a dancing competetion in each and every film. Santhanam would say that he is Micheal Jackson and I am Prabhudeva. I am so happy to see him grow, and I am sure this film will be a sure shot entertainer.”
Santhanam’s ardent fans were seen holding flexes inside the venue and presented him a garland and a flower-made crown.
