TFPC President Kalaipuli Thanu told Silverscreen, “Very few people attended the event. As you can see, it was because Vishal decided to do it on Monday, and executed it on Friday. So members of the Sangam from far-off places were not notified in time for them to attend. An event such as this should have been meticulously planned and executed on a large scale. But Vishal chose to do it soon and so shabbily, as the brand value behind it is good for his election campaign.”

Ramesh Aravind’s Kannada film Pushpaka Vimana is in trouble for copying the Korean film Miracle. Kross Pictures, a television production company based in South Korea, has alleged that the movie’s storyline is a copy of the Korean movie Miracle In Cell No. 7, the rights to which are owned by Kross Pictures India.
The Bombay High Court has said that the movie “appears to be a copy of the Korean movie Miracle in Cell No. 7.”
The court issued an order restraining further exhibition and distribution of the film in any medium including cinema theatres, television, and CDs/DVDs.
