Anupam Kher says that he met the students of FTII recently to assure them that he was not a ‘monster’.
“I think they now know I am not a monster, that we are on the same page.” He said that he completely understands why the students didn’t take to him immediately. “The problem with bringing someone from the top to run an organisation is that the whole organisation looks at the new person with suspicion. And, I don’t blame them for thinking so! I wanted them to know that I was not bringing any bureaucratic baggage on the campus.”

Bugsy fame director James Toback has been accused of sexual harassment and assault by 38 women.

Many of the women allege Toback approached them on the streets of New York City and promised stardom. Subsequent meetings would often end with sexual questions and Toback masturbating in front of the women or dry-humping them, according to the accounts.
The 72-year-old denied the allegations to LA Times, saying he never met any of the women, or if he had it “was for five minutes and [I] have no recollection”.
