Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt feels that people respect him more because he “didn’t run away” from his mistakes. “After coming out of jail, I realise people respect me because I didn’t run away. I served my sentence like a man and came out like a man, with dignity,” he told the Times of India.

Dutt confessed that he had “come to terms with his past”. “I made a mistake. I should have been more responsible, but I was young then. I paid for it and now, finally, it’s behind me.”

Mollywood actor Sreejith Ravi was arrested on Friday for allegedly exposing himself to a group of school girls. He was arrested under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POSCO) Act, and held at the Ottapalam police station in Palakkad.

Following a complaint by a group of 14 girls, an FIR was filed against the actor for indulging in lewd behaviour. According to the complaint, on August 27, a man stopped his car and exposed his private parts to a group of girls, while clicking pictures of them. However, the complaint didn’t mention the actor by name, only his car number.
