This Thursday, the Bombay High Court refused to issue a stay on British rock band Coldplay‘s concert. The bench heard a public interest litigation filed by activists Anjali Damania and Hemant Gavande challenging the government’s decision to waive the entertainment duty for the concert.
The concert is scheduled for November 19, at the MMRDA grounds in suburban Bandra Kurla Complex, as part of a Global Citizen initiative.

The Mumbai police’s probe into the alleged romantic emails sent by Hrithik Roshan to Kangana Ranaut has been completed.

According to reports, the alleged emails indicated that Hrithik was in a relationship with Kangana. Roshan, however, has maintained that the emails in question were the handiwork of an impostor. He has even sent a notice to Ranaut demanding an apology. His team denies Ranaut’s claim that the two actors were in a “secret” relationship, and alleges instead that Ranaut has Asperger’s syndrome.
“We have been unable to find anything on the mail ID as the server is located in the US. Now it is very difficult to ascertain who was using the account. Still, we will try to conclude [the case] from the available evidence,” said Sanjay Saxena, joint commissioner of police, Crime Branch.
