Filmmaker SS Rajamouli’s RRR (Roudhram Ranam Rudhiram), the period action film that released on Friday, has collected Rs 223 crore at the worldwide box office on day one, surpassing the director’s own previous record with Baahubali 2: The Conclusion.
Baahubali: Before The Beginning, Netflix’s much-awaited prequel to the popular Baahubali film franchise, could be shelved, according to Variety. In 2018, the streaming platform had announced the web series, which was to be directed by Deva Katta and Praveen Sataru.

The Hyderabad High Court on Wednesday passed an interim stay on the release of the films Ennai Nokki Paayum Thotta and Sindhubaadh, in response a petition filed by Baahubali producer and Arka Media Works’ partner, Shobu Yaarlagadda, seeking unpaid dues from producers of these films.
