Director Shiv Mohaa has been honoured with the prestigious Rocheston award for his debut film, ‘Zero‘. The Rocheston Accredition Institute, New York, has conferred the ‘Distinguished Design’ award to the movie for its “exceptional artistic creation and technique”.
Zero is a 2016 fantasy-horror film, starring Ashwin Kakumanu and Sshivada in the lead roles. A thrilling tale about a woman battling her mental illness, the movie garnered mixed response from the audience and critics. The movie had a tepid run at the box office. However, now, the movie has been acknowledged for the “phenomenal amount of work put into creating an extraordinary screenplay”.
Recently, Oscar-winning sound technician Resul Pookutty had won the Rocheston’s Distinguished Engineer Award for his contribution to the field of cinema.
