Director Vishnuvardhan’s upcoming film Yatchan has been given a clean U certificate. Producer and distributor Dhananjayan Govind of UTV Motion Pictures said that the movie has no scenes depicting smoking or drinking, and didn’t need any cuts. He added that a censor board official had commended the Yatchan team for becoming the only recent film to not require the ‘Smoking and liquor drinking are injurious to health’ tag.

The audio of the movie will be released by Zee Music on August 3. Having acquired the censor certification, an official release date is expected shortly.
Yatchan stars Arya, Kreshna, Swathi Reddy, and Deepa Sannidhi in central roles. Produced by Vishnuvardhan Films, the film has music scored by Yuvan Shankar Raja.
